Just a little Jillian to start the day. Also it is time to start using my myfitnesspal account again. Need to get my calories under control.

30 Day Shred it has been a while. Due to the snow and the treadmills in the complex gym being broken I started my morning with some Jillian. I was hoping that with the running this would be easier than I remembered - no dice. Still sweating as I am typing this….Also those arm muscles I have been ignoring are screaming. I take the hint arms - I will start paying attention to you.
Now to practice interview questions…..
So you will have to excuse the mini rant I am about to go on - mostly do to members of my cohort putting me in a bad mood.
I grew up swimming year round but stopped when I got to college. Part of the reason the boyfriend and I joined the YMCA was to have access to the pool. It has been great to get back into the water, my body just feels at home when I am swimming. However the people who swim at the Y I go to have a habit of wanting to swim back and forth in a line. Now if you are not a swimmer you might not understand what I mean - but when in a lane (with lane lines in the water) they want to stay on one side of the black line for every lap they swim. It drives the inner swimmer in me insane, because I grew up going in a circle. Even when I am in a lane by myself I have to go in a circle it is the way my body was trained - and when multiple people are in the lane (like there are in any swim practice) that instinct kicks into high gear. You swim on the right side of the lane then the left side of the lane.
Phew it feels good to get that out of my system.
Anyway I did 30 day shred before classes and swam for 40 minutes post class.
Fourth day in a row of some Jillian in the morning. This was the first day I did not have the urge to quit at any point throughout the DVD. I did not need to give my self a mental pep talk and look at that, I am done by 8:30 am.
Feeling good!
Today went a lot better than yesterday - I did not feel motivated to quit in the middle :)
Total Cal Burn: 287, not bad for 20 min of work
